What is a FREE Valuation?

Most of our Sellers call us when they are considering selling, but are unsure if it’s a financially feasible step to take. That’s the perfect time to learn about the value of your pet business, and will help you decide whether you are ready to sell. We can assist you in that by offering a free, no obligation, business valuation. A business valuation will give you a business broker’s opinion of the market (selling) value of your business.

What is required from me?

First we set up a phone meeting for me to learn about your history, services you provide, size of the operation, staff, occupancy rates, location, clientele, property, residence (if applicable), etc. Based on that information certain values are assigned that affect the value of your business. In addition to that, we will need financial information for the past 2 years. This includes Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets as well as answers to questions about your personal income derived from the business.

How long until I know what I could get for my business?

After all required information is received, a valuation is prepared within 15 business days.

Will I be required to sell my business if I choose to have a market valuation done?

Absolutely not. There really are no strings attached, no obligations.

What else might I learn from this process?

You will learn where your business is doing well, and where it needs improvement. Many business owners have a valuation done to gauge where they need to improve to get more money out of their business in a year or two.
